Ronan Wins Northeast Region Women's Coach Of The Year
Nov. 16, 2007
Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook women's cross country coach, Andy Ronan, has been awarded the 2007 Northeast Region Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year Award. The Seawolves qualified for the NCAA Championships for the first time in school history by finishing second at the Northeast Regional last Saturday. Two weeks earlier, Stony Brook won the America East Conference title, also for the first time. Ronan is in his eighth season as the track and cross country coach at Stony Brook and has put together one of the most successful programs in Seawolves athletics during that time. Ronan will be coaching the women's cross country team this Monday during the NCAA Championships at Indiana State University.
