Four Stony Brook Tennis Players Earn America East All-Academic Honors

A total of four Stony Brook University student-athletes from its men's and women's tennis teams were honored by the America East Conference today when the league announced its All-Academic teams for tennis. Two men and two women were named to the teams which are selected based on the student-athlete's academic and athletic accomplishments. [+]

Baradach Named Player/Rookie of the Year by America East

Freshman Artem Baradach (Minsk, Belarus) swept the top America East men's tennis awards today when the league announced its yearly award winners. Baradach was named both the Player of the Year and the Rookie of the Year after an outstanding year for the Seawolves. Three other Stony Brook players joined Baradach with all-conference honors for Stony Brook. [+]

Men's Tennis Ends Season at America East Championships

It was close, but in the end it was not close enough for the Stony Brook men's tennis team today at the America East Championships. The third-seeded Seawolves fell by a scant point to the second-seeded UMBC Retrievers, 4-3, in a semifinal match before moving on to defeat Boston University, 4-1 in a consolation match that marked the end of the season for Stony Brook. Freshman Artem Baradach (Minsk, Belarus) won three matches to lead the Seawovles. [+]
