Stony Brook, N.Y. - Junior midfielder Brooke Barbuto (Syracuse, N.Y.) was named to the All-Northeast Region third team by Soccer Buzz magazine, the publication recently announced. Barbuto earned a spot on the NSCAA All-Northeast region team earlier this month.

A first-team All America-East selection, Barbuto appeared in all 18 Seawolves games and tied a team-high with three goals including two game-winners. She also led the team with 28 shots on goal and was second on the squad with seven points.

The Seawolves finshed the season 8-5-5 and hosted their first ever America East tournament game, a 2-1 victory over Maine.
